Students will learn how to safely reload ammunition for their rifle and how to start developing loads to increase accuracy and precision with low deviations in velocity.

Course Details

Students will learn how to prepare new or once fired brass, reprime, charge, and seat a bullet. Students will become familiar with how to operate all the necessary tools and equipment for reloading.

Equipment

Students will need to bring equipment and components that are specific to the cartridge their rifle is chambered in. For example, if you’re shooting a .308 Winchester, and your cases have large rifle primer pockets, you will need 100 pieces of .308 Winchester brass, 100 .308 caliber bullets that will work with your twist rate, 1 pound of gun powder that will work with your cartridge, 100 large rifle primers, and a .308 Winchester reloading die set.
